Business partnership dealing in cutting and sale of firewood in Concord, Mass. Formed in fall of 1917 by Prescott Keyes, co-owner with his sisters and with Philip Keyes Walcott of land on which Peter Hutchinson (black hog-killer who died in 1881) had lived. Keyes hired John J. Dee to manage the company. In 1918, Stedman Buttrick (1864-1925) bought the land on which stood the company's wood and arranged with Keyes for the cutting and marketing of the remaining wood.
